Book by usable capacity, not a generic vehicle label. Send the number of adults and children, every large case, cabin bag and special item, then obtain confirmation that the dispatched vehicle can legally carry everyone with all luggage secured.

Make a complete inventory

Count occupied seats separately from bags. Add pushchairs, wheelchairs, skis, instruments and rigid cases with approximate dimensions; a folded rear seat may reduce passenger capacity.

Confirm price and configuration

Ask whether a larger vehicle, second taxi, airport fee or luggage charge applies. Save the confirmed vehicle class and bag list in the booking record.

Check before loading

At pickup, keep people and bags off the roadway. Do not accept loose luggage in the passenger area if it blocks belts, exits or the driver’s view.

Common questions

Does “six seats” mean six passengers plus luggage?

Not necessarily. Ask for usable passenger capacity with your exact bag list; luggage can occupy space needed for seats.

Are luggage fees universal?

No. Some regulated taxis prohibit them while other places or booked services allow charges. Verify the local rule or quote.
